Almond, a French company specializing in cybersecurity audit and consulting, marks the first step in its international development with the opening of an office in Geneva.

Almond, a major French player in auditing and consulting in the fields of Cybersecurity, Cloud and Infrastructures, opens its first international office in Geneva. The company also has offices in Paris, Nantes and Strasbourg, where it employs 150 people in total.

“Switzerland is an economically dynamic country with many assets such as its legal framework, political stability, high value-added companies, a high level of privacy protection and the availability of highly qualified engineers. These strengths, in addition to a growing demand for cybersecurity services, convinced us to choose Switzerland for our first international office,” explains Olivier Pantaléo, the company’s CEO, in a press release. Almond has benefited from the support of GGBa and DG DERI.

The French company aims to quickly become a key player in cybersecurity in Switzerland. The new Geneva office is headed by Guillaume Masclez, who will soon be joined by three other cybersecurity experts. By the end of the year, the subsidiary will employ six to nine people. Almond – which already has several clients in Switzerland – also aims to have a portfolio of around 20 corporate clients by the end of 2021.
