French company MapClim, specializing in the installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and special fluids systems, has opened a branch in the canton of Fribourg, to more adequately meet the specific needs of its Swiss customers.

French company MapClim has chosen the Marly Innovation Center (MIC) in the canton of Fribourg to set up its first subsidiary outside of France. A recognized player in the climate control business, MapClim has been assisting its customers with the tuning and optimization of ventilation installations, and the qualification of clean room areas for more than 20 years. The company is active in the health, industrial and tertiary sectors.

“Driven by the need to reinforce our customer proximity, MapClim decided to set up a presence within Switzerland, in a canton with a strong pharmaceutical, life sciences and industrial ecosystem. The technical and commercial team of our new Swiss entity, named Swiss Anemo, is already operational, keeping the same motto: Our DNA is technical, our solutions are pragmatic,” explains Sébastien Girard, MapClim/Swiss Anemo Development Manager.

The Marly Innovation Center, a cutting-edge technology center

The MIC is one of the largest technology campuses in Switzerland. It covers an area of 370,000m2 – the equivalent of more than 60 football pitches – and offers all the infrastructure necessary for companies’ success, from flexoffices to greenfield solutions, including 7,000m2 of fully equipped laboratories. Swiss Anemo joins around 150 companies already present on site, representing approximately 500 jobs.
